This book was written to help the absolute beginner, whether child or adult learn to play in a simple and easy way that requires no knowledge of reading music. If you are a beginner, playing by note can be difficult. It is easier to follow color-coded circles with note letters.Just by following the color circles, you will sound like an experienced musician. I recommend the color bell set and 8 note color resonator blocks for your child's first musical experience. There are 2 instruments that are best for beginners and most solfeggio teachers advise that it's better to begin not with a piano, but with a simpler and more accessible instrument. There are 3 levels in this e-book.Level 1. Play by color circle. Each song here is written with color circles and letter notes inside.Level 2. Get acquainted with the musical staff. Learn the places of each note on a staff. No note durations (note length) here.Level 3. Play by classic note on a musical staff. Here is the "adult" musical notation: clef, duration, rests, and connection of the notes, but the helpful color circles and letters are still above the notes. Each song was adapted for the newbie, with just 8 notes (one octave). At the end of the book, you will also find simple puzzles that will make reading notes easier.ContentsLEVEL 1Jingle BellsLondon Bridge is Falling DownThe wheels on the BusMary had a little lambAre you sleeping? We wish you a Merry ChristmasBrahms LullabyHappy BirthdayBeethoven. This e-book is aimed at those who want to add popular melodies to their experimentation. All songs from this book are possible to play in one octave. These songs are suitable for a diatonic 8-note tongue drum, which should have numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 1 of the next octave. Please note: if you have a model of the tongue drum with 5 tongues, or if some keys from the octave are missing, you will not be able to play all of the songs in this book.Table of contentsPART 1A Hunting We Will GoAcka BackaBell HorsesBobby ShaftoDoggie DoggieFrog in the MeadowHot Cross BunsLondon BridgeLong-legged SailorMary Had a Little LambMiss Mary MackNinety-Nine BottlesOld Bald EagleOne, Two, Three, FourRain, Rain, Go AwayRing Around the RosieRub-a-Dub-DubSee-Saw Margery DawTen in the BedThe Wheels on the BusPART 2Alphabet SongA Sailor Went to SeaAre You Sleeping?Baa Baa Black SheepBaby Bumble BeeCobbler, Mend My ShoeCotton Eyed JoeDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongDo You Know the Muffin Man?Doctor FosterFive Little DucksFive Little MonkeysHappy BirthdayHumpty DumptyI Like to Eat Apples and BananasI Love Little KittyIt's RainingJack and JillJingle BellsLa CucarachaLavender's BlueLittle Jack HornerMichael, Row the Boat AshoreMy HatOh We Can Play on the Big Bass DrumOld BlueOld McDonaldOld Mother HubbardRow Row Your BoatThe BackerThe Bee and the PupThe Mulberry BushThis Old ManTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarWe Wish You a Merry ChristmasPART 3Bim Bum BiddyBrahms LullabyChumbaraCock-a-Doodle DooFiddle-Dee-DeeItsy Bitsy SpiderJolly Old Saint NicholasKookaburraLi'l Liza JaneOde to JoyOh SusannahPeace Like a RiverThe Big SheepTinga LayoTo Market, To Market

Playing traditional music notes is difficult for people who have no musical knowledge. You need to know the rhythmic value of each note, its place on the staff, note duration, and combination with other notes. To be aware of all this simultaneously demands music experience and advanced skills. Nevertheless, even if you have never studied music, you can begin to play complicated melodies, and also experiment with your tongue drum in a meditative way.The steel tongue drum (aka tong drum, tank drum, gluck-o-phone, hapi drum, mandala or lotus drum) and the handpan (aka hank drum, UFO drum, zen drum) are percussion musical instruments designed to help you focus on your feelings, sensations and body. You don't need classical music training or knowledge of music theory to play them.I collect very simple and well-known songs and melodies with easy rhythms. You can begin to play in just two steps. First, you will play using circles that contain either a number, without having to consider note duration, key, or time signatures. These numbers correspond to those on the keys of your tongue drum. So you just need to follow the numbers. You can get an idea of how the song might be played by listening to the YouTube clip of the same song, which you can access with the QR code below each song. Then, if you find that you can play the song with more confidence, you can try using the second page of the same song, with the actual notes. There, the same melody is written in a traditional manner with all the necessary musical symbols. However, I simplified the melodies in this step as well, transposing the most songs for one octave, leaving the numbers under the notes. I hope that playing these simple melodies will bring you a new relaxation and meditation experience filled with a lot of joy.ContentsAlphabet SongBobby ShaftoCobbler, Mend My ShoeChumbaraDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongFive Little MonkeysHumpty DumptyI Love Little KittyJack and JillMy HatOld Mother Hub

My sheet music includes fingering positions, letter-coded notation, and song lyrics for a 4-hole ocarina. Although your ocarina has just 4 holes, this small instrument can produce 8 natural notes, the full range from C to C, and 5 flat or sharp notes. This songbook is suitable for a 6-hole ocarina also, in this case, 2 holes on the back side of the instrument should be always covered with thumbs. The fingering positions are shown in the book graphically on an image of a standard-shaped ocarina with four holes. Each hole on the ocarina is represented by circles. The circles filled in black indicate which holes should be covered while playing. The open circles mean they should be uncovered. The bottom circles correspond to the holes on the ocarina which are closest to your mouth. Circles on the left are played using the left hand and are played with the index and middle fingers, while those on the right side are played with the same fingers on the right hand. The 4-hole ocarina is a simple beginner instrument. It is cheap and portable, has a simple structure and form, and is easy to begin to play.My sheet music is based on a 4-hole ocarina tuned in C Major.ContentsA Tisket, a TasketAu Clair de la LuneBingoBye Baby BuntingHappy Birthday to YouHere We Go Round the Mulberry BushHickory Dickory DockHoly, Holy, HolyHot Cross BunsI'm a Little TeapotItsy Bitsy SpiderLittle Bunny Foo FooLondon BridgeMary Had a Little LambOde to JoyOld MacDonald Had a FarmPop Goes the WeaselRain, Rain, Go AwayRing Around the RosyRock-a-bye BabyRow Row Row Your BoatSkip to My LouTen Little FingersThe Bear Went Over the MountainThe Muffin ManThe Wheels on the BusThis Old ManThree Blind MiceTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarWe Wish You a Merry Christmas

I present the easy-to-play songs in this songbook for beginners. You, your kids or students will have the opportunity to jump right into the music immediately. Music bells create an amazing sound and there is no need to worry about being in tune or finger position. It's a great instrument for beginners of any age.If you are a beginner, playing by note can be difficult. It is easier to follow color-coded circles with note letters. Just by following the color circles, you will sound like an experienced musician. All songs were written with circles in the musical staff, and there are no stems or flags - only notes on the line - to keep it simple. The unique advantage of bell sets is the fact that each note is created by an individual bell, so the notes that are not used in a particular song can be removed and the student has a greater chance for success. A handbell orchestra acts as one instrument, with each musician responsible for their particular notes, sounding their assigned bells whenever those notes appear in the music. All songs were written with circles in the musical staff, and there are no stems or flags - only notes on the line - to keep it simple. This book is aimed at those who want to add popular melodies to their experimentation. All songs in this book have been written without using the classic music score system, because it is for absolute beginners who cannot read sheet music.I use circles with numbers because most modern tongue drums have numbers engraved or painted on their keys. I do not show the note duration - I just group the circles closer to each other to show the rhythms. You can experiment with duration on your own. Because most tongue drums include and are tuned to involve the notes of the main octave, all songs from this e-book are possible to play in one octave. This e-book includes very simple, popular children's and folk songs, but even well-known children's songs played on the drum will create an unusual magical sound.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, please use the classic music score for the piano.Contents:IntroductionRub-a-Dub-DubThe Wheels on the BusMiss Mary MackHappy BirthdayDoggie DoggieMary Had a Little LambOh We Can Play on the Big Bass DrumTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarA Hunting We Will GoKookaburraOde to JoyDo You Know the Muffin Man?Old Bald EagleLa CucarachaA Sailor Went to SeaAre You Sleeping? The Mulberry BushOld McDonaldBim Bum BiddyLondon BridgeJingle BellsTinga LayoItsy Bitsy SpiderWe Wish You a Merry ChristmasBrahms LullabyNinety-Nine BottlesJolly Old Saint NicholasOh SusannahRow Row Your BoatAcka BackaHot Cross BunsBell Horses

Storytelling and activity songs and rhymes have a long tradition, and at times, they have passed down from generation to generation. My book has more pictures than words in order to methodically introduce each movement and associate it with a spoken word.I use two kinds of pictures:1) pictures that tell a story or plot which can be discussed, and2) pictures showing motions that will be repeated throughout the activity songs and rhymes. They are detailed so it is not necessary to go back each time.In my book, you will find 5 popular activity rhythms with very detailed pictures of each gesture. You and your kids will be able to learn each finger/hand movement step by step, bringing enjoyment to both of you.Contents:- I've got Five Fingers in My Pocket- A Sailor Went to Sea, Sea, Sea- Open, Shut Them, Open, Shut Them- One Little FishYou might ask why you should buy e-books with fingerplays when there are so many free videos on YouTube.I believe that parents should define the development and entertainment of their children. Video content is entertainment, not a participatory game. It is created by somebody else, not the child, and grabs the attention of kids against their will. This e-book also provides instruction for the hand movements but gives the child the space for their own sense of creation. Hand gestures are not done for the child, but by the child. Here is a chance for kids to think, learn, and to try for themselves. Also, the e-book suggests more activities compared with simply repeating from an image on a screen. Kids can see all gestures step to step, try them and feel them. This gives them the chance to see themselves from the outside looking in, modifying when necessary to get it just right. This self-analyzing ability is an extremely important skill for their future lives.

If your only singing has been in the shower, let us help you become a real musician. And you can do it with any instrument. Even a toy piano, if it is tuned. What do you need for your musical success? Equipment for starters. It could be any key instrument like a piano, melodica, kalimba, marimba, synthesizer, xylophone, glockenspiel, or a color bell set with 8 bells or more.Drums, tambourines, castanets, and music rattles are also welcome. The main argument for the idea of not being able to play in a band with your child immediately is I CANNOT READ MUSIC SHEET. Don't worry! You don't have to!The sheet music book has 2 parts:Part 1. No musical staff or notes. Simply follow the circles with letters. To show the rhythm, I grouped the circles together. Every song in this section was adapted for the newbie - you - just 8 notes (one octave).Part 2. Here you'll see traditional musical notes and staff added. But don't worry - the helpful letters are still there.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. I call this series "I don't read music" since I am targeting beginners of all ages: children, teens, parents, and grandparents. This songbook includes 65 familiar and easy-to-play songs and melodies. Most songs have been simplified and transposed for one octave. So the songbook is suitable even for a diatonic 8-note kalimba in C-scale, and 10- or 17-note as well.Since this book is aimed at the absolute beginner without any knowledge ofreading music, I do not use here the classical music staff and do notshow the note duration. You can experiment with the duration on your own.If you are a beginner, playing by note can be difficult. It is easier to follow number-coded circles in this songbook. By simply followingthe numbers, you will sound like an experienced musician.Contents:Alphabet SongA Hunting We Will GoA Sailor Went to SeaAcka BackaAre You Sleeping?Baa Baa Black SheepBaby Bumble BeeBell HorsesBim Bum BiddyBobby ShaftoBrahms LullabyChumbaraCobbler, Mend My ShoeCock-a-Doodle DooCotton Eyed JoeDing Dong DiggiDiggiDongDo You Know the Muffin Man?Doggie DoggieDoctor FosterFiddle-Dee-DeeFive Little DucksFive Little MonkeysFrog in the MeadowGood Night, LadiesHappy BirthdayHot Cross BunsHumpty DumptyI Like to Eat Apples and BananasI Love Little KittyIt's RainingItsy Bitsy SpiderJack and JillJingle BellsJolly Old Saint NicholasKookaburraLa CucarachaLittle Jack HornerLondon BridgeMary Had a Little LambMiss Mary MackMy HatNinety-Nine BottlesOde to JoyOh SusannahOh We Can Play on the Big Bass DrumOld Bald EagleOld BlueOld McDonaldOld Mother HubbardOne, Two, Three, FourRain, Rain, Go AwayRing Around the RosieRow Row Your BoatRub-a-Dub-DubSee-Saw Margery DawTen in the BedThe Bee and the PupThe Big SheepThe Mulberry BushThe Wheels on the BusThis Old ManTinga LayoTo Market, To MarketTwinkle, Twinkle Little StarWe Wish You a Merry Christmas

Follow the letters... and begin to play! Even if you don't know musical notes, you will confidently be able to play easily using the letter notation! This book might include only letters and it will be enough to begin to play, but I decided to add classic note symbols to help teach them and show musical notation. All songs were adapted especially for the kalimba, which is a diatonic musical instrument and has no flat keys. Most songs will be played within one octave.Attention: Songs have been transposed for a DIATONIC range. Some melodies might be changed and simplified. If you have flat keys on your instrument, please use the classic music score for piano.Part 1Skip, Skip, Skip to My LouHumpty DumptyMy HatI like to Eat (Apples and Bananas)Cobbler, Mend My ShoeLost My Gold RingThis Old ManBaby Bumble BeeThe Bear Went Over the MountainCherry BlossomRing Around the RosieRain, Rain, Go AwayA Ram Sam SamLittle Jack HornerIt's RainingAu Clair de la LuneDebka HoraMy BonnieHouse of the Rising SunPart 2Baa Baa Black SheepTwinkle, Twinkle, Little StarAlphabet Song

This book is for kids or adults who are absolute beginners in music. I tried to write it as simply as possible. That is why I use an "easy-to-play" visual aid so any beginner can play music quickly.Neither kids nor their parents have to read sheet music or have a musical background. No previous knowledge is necessary. None at all.Every song has a large and simple, color and letter-coded visual, along with traditional sheet music. The instruction is designed so that children begin with simple circles and gradually advance to reading notes using sheet music. I try to make this transition as easy as a game, where children advance to higher levels themselves. There is a total of 22 songs and 3 options to help children to begin to play right away.PLAYING BY COLOR CIRCLEPLAY BY LETTERPLAY WITH THE MUSICAL STAFFLevel 1Mary Had a Little LambOde to JoyThe Wheels on the BusJolly Old Saint NicholasTen Little FingersLondon BridgeDo You Know the Muffin Man?We Wish You a Merry ChristmasThe First NoelBrahms LullabyRow Row Your BoatItsy Bitsy SpiderSilent NightOh SusannahLevel 2Hot Cross BunsAre You Sleeping?Old McDonaldLevel 3Jingle BellsLa CucarachaYankee DoodleHappy BirthdayAmazing GraceMusic Note ValuesMusical Puzzles
