I'm introducing a new genre by way of the Diary-Education Fiction. Drug Education runs all through the book. The purpose of the book is to educate. The more people who know about the world of drugs and drug addicts, the better-that is why the book is Education Fiction and not just a simple diary. Because the book is Education Fiction, the overall writing of the diary is on the academic and sometimes even scholarly side. Still, it is fiction and it has to be more academic and scholarly since its real purpose is to inform and educate and help drug users and addicts and also their families. The book is also for professionals.
The title Muir's Montage is derived from the fact that when he read his poetry in coffee houses in the 60's (especially @ the Thirsty Ear in Morristown NJ) he used the nom de plume Alexander Muir because Jack Miller seemed so commonplace.The early poems were heavily influence by his drug & alcohol abuse. The later poems deal with the intricacies of relationships & lost & unrequited love. Although an agnostic he believes there is a power for good in the universe. When you try to do good you get help. Where that help comes from is open for debate.Words are the "Arcanum Arcanum." He believes there is a hidden dimension to words and word meanings and derivations hold many mysteries and in that occult dimension lies a mystical significance. Before the accelerating expansion of the universe was known it was believed that at some point the expansion would end and gravity (Sidera mordax) would cause the Cosmos to contract to its starting point in a "Big Crunch."Although the poetry is quite dark the author strives to remain optimistic. The central theme in the poetry is that of survival. You can only escape thepain of living by deadening the senses with drugs & alcohol and this only works for a relatively short time. Then you must face everything. There is no escape from yourself.

What a pleasure it is to be able to find all these food and much more here in the United States-in any grocery store or already prepared in any of the abundant Cuban restaurants. I often wonder why it took so long for Cuban cuisine to be embraced, although I realized that there were obstacles to overcome. Today, Americans have begun to understand that the cooking of Cuba is not as over spicy or greasy as some imagine it to be. I have researched most of the recipes to find out the history and origin of the dishes and the traditions and customs related to Cuban food.
My child had the courage and honesty to tell me his feelings when he was told I was having a baby. I never expected his response.
Imagine a busy body dad who is always doing something around the house. Whether he is being silly or being positive, everything he does has an impact on the family. It starts off with him doing things around the house that will make you laugh, but then progresses into him doing multiple things to show that he is a great dad. We are all the same, yet so different - perhaps even strange to each other. "e;Strange Places, Strange Faces"e; deals with this phenomenon. The dictionary gives the definition of 'strange' as unusual or surprising, that which is unsettling, unfamiliar or alien, not previously encountered. I suppose we appear strange to people who are unfamiliar to us, just as they appear different to us. There are individuals living in this world who are not the same as we are, dwell in locations unlike those in which we reside, and have goals in life which might appear odd to us. I have tried to paint these pictures on a literary canvas.
