Exploring the pernicious underpinnings of the medical malpractice industry, Time of Trial is a novel that chronicles one doctor's struggle to defend himself against an unjust malpractice suit. Employing the protagonist as narrator adds a personal tone to the narrative. Early one morning in a Vermont emergency room, Martin Wennar dies of cardiac arrest despite the best efforts of the staff to save him. Having suffered from senile dementia and the frequent falls that accompanied the condition, no one is surprised when the seventy-year-old man passes away. His primary care physician, Jon Ziebaska, is very surprised, however, when he receives word that Martin's wife, Kathy, is suing him for malpractice. Initially confident, Jon reviews the patient's records and believes nothing even remotely questionable occurred during the care of his patient. Yet forces beyond his comprehension are at work. To make matters worse, Cassy, Jon's beautiful and loving wife of several decades, is diagnosed with Alzheimer's and begins to slowly slip away from him. Ultimately, Time of Trial critiques the legal and medical professions for their involvement in an industry that in the end helps no one.

Of Pelvic Correction, without our spines enjoying alignment, whatever we do to improve our Immune Systems and state of health, unless our spines and our pelvises are aligned, we just cannot reach that optimum state of robustness we should like to attain and which is our birthright to enjoy. It is not only back-pain and all other musculoskeletal-skeletal aches and pains we suffer, but the more subtle aspects of our physiology not producing what we want and what we need that matters also. All those pesky Conditions/Ailments that beset our lives, many are due to the misalignment of the pelvis and skeletal frame, so commonplace. Detrimental leg-length discrepancy is always a feature of a dislocated pelvis. This Book: Correct Your Pelvis & Heal Your Back-pain, explains amply the truthful situation with this almost plague-like Condition with Back-pain and all other musculoskeletal-skeletal aches and pains and also teaches the various antidotes to these corrosive Disorders. The pelvis is: The Foundation of the Skeletal Frame and it determines to a large extent the health of the whole of the human spine when integrated and aligned so that its horizontality parallels to the Visible Horizon. (the visible line engendered when the sky meets the circumference of the earth) When this horizontality is projected outwards, on a plane to meet that horizon-line, there is balance and poise - This is one of the unseen connections to Mother Earth. Not to mention again that, the healthy spine assists us to suffer fewer illnesses as well as flexibility of movement and an increase in Immunity that protects us from pathogens and other 'pain in the neck' disorders.

"Pick your targets, lads. Make them count!" Patrick yelled as he squeezed The trigger on his rifle and began to reload. "We're going to have a lot of company soon. Be ready to fall back." The Rangers followed their training, one man firing while the other covered. Jacob moved and reacted automatically, though he felt a growing anger as he watched the Provincials break and run instead of fighting. As the flood became a ride of running Provincial soldiers, Patrick gave the order to break away. One Ranger would run back while his partner fired, then he would turn and cover his partner. Their accurace fire was effective, but it was not enough to turn the tide. Here is the opening tale of Ranger Jacob Clarke, fighting alongside his fellow Rangers of Captain Robert RopersCompany, fighting as green-clad wraiths in the thick northern forests and mountains of New York, attempting to stem the French tide as they poured through the Champlain Valley, their sights set on Albany. Will the actions of the Rangers, alongside the Provincials und Red-coated regulars of the British Army be enough to stop the French and their Indian Allies?

These informative Essays are writings of alternative political and philosophical ideas - ideas that are thoughts which may be uppermost in our minds when we deal with questions about our extraordinary existence on this Planet. This vale of tears, and laughter - the agony, and the ecstasy.Though man has made extraordinary leaps and bounds in all technologies as well as know-how, and is proven also to be self-sacrificing in many instances at his best - even noble in his behaviour, he tends to remain as primitive as ever in many departments of life particularly in emotional matters and with his ethics in private and in public life, and especially so within this almost Godless Age.Alas, humility and self-introspection have virtually become alien pursuits.

What about the Book of Mormon? That it is a controversial book cannot be denied. Many do not accept it as scripture. They believe that Joseph Smith, Jr., "wrote" it. They also believe that the Bible is the only scripture ever written, but nowhere does the Bible make that claim. This belief is not biblical. In fact, just the opposite is true. The Bible testifies to the existence of other written scriptures and specifically a second scripture written about the tribe of Joseph (Ezekiel 37:19). This Joseph is the same Joseph of the coat of many colors, the same Joseph sold into slavery in Egypt and the Same Joseph that saved Egypt and all of the tribes of Israel from the seven-year that occurred.Due to his lack of knowledge and education, if Joseph Smith, Jr., has written The Book of Mormon, it would have been disproven years ago. Instead, as time passes, more and more of it is proven to be correct. Joseph Smith could not have written it for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that he was a barely literate man. He knew very little of the scriptures and no Hebrew at all. Yet The Book of Mormon is clearly written by highly educated men with a strong background in Hebrew customs and writing techniques, none of which were known by any American in the 1800s. More information on this subject will be explored within this book. This book was begun by the direction of the Holy Spirit and written to the entire body of Christ. Some might ask why they should read it. Some will read it to try to refute it; others will read it to learn and still, others will use it to further their own agendas. However, you should read it and pray over it, asking God through His Holy Spirit to give you a witness as to its validityWe need direction from the Holy Spirit because we are always vulnerable to error. Even prophets can be deceived (2 Chronicles, Chapter 18). Satan will do anything he can to prevent us from gaining unity in our fight against him. For years he has used the "divide and conquer" plan, and we have fallen prey to it. It is time we stop fighting over our petty differences and start working together for the salvation of all mankind. The harvest is plentiful; it is time to bring it in, and we can do it! With the help of God through His Son Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit, we can accomplish what would otherwise be impossible on our own.

The subject matter of this unorthodox Book is the gender phenomenon of the Masculine and of the Feminine forces winding and intertwining, warping and wefting through all of of life's manifestations whether in object or in subject. It seeks to clarify the nature of these, seemingly opposing forces of nature (Masculine/Feminine) that on the surface seem to be irreconcilable and in conflict, by offering two sides to the argument applying an ancient esoteric system to assist their neutralisation. Neutralisation in the sense that we may now appreciate the union of opposites.

Homer grows up knowing he looks different than most kids in his neighborhood. Although both his parents are African American, his appearance more closely resembles a Caucasian. As he struggles to fit in with others in his African American race, Homer faces prejudice and bullying by those who brand him "the white kid," until he decides to fight back, transforming himself and his attitude forever. On his wayward journey to removing himself from his surroundings, Homer feels his looks are a curse which sets off a series of horrific events that test all his emotions. To others it seems as though Homer has been given all the keys to unlock the American Dream. Unfortunately, they are unaware of his sins as a youth. As Homer relives his experiences, joys, and challenges through the metaphorical structure of eighteen holes of golf, he shines a light on his determined quest to overcome his outcast label, accept his mixed heritage, seek forgiveness, and-more importantly-love himself. Sins of a Mulatto Outcast tells the compelling tale of one man's struggles to embrace his uniqueness in order to achieve happiness in life.

This is a story of a man's struggle with drug and alcohol abuse, suicide attempts, mental ward admissions, DUIs, overdoses, and police arrests starting at the age of sixteen. It is not a pretty story, but it is one that had to be told by him so that others might not go down the same path he did. It is one of triumph in the end though his life has been a test. And you cannot have a testimony without a test. Nothing in life happens without a reason, and Jesus is still there even when we do not want him in our lives. In life, we have a choice and free will in every decision we make. He always chose the hard way. It is his only hope that someone reading this will be helped and forever be changed by his story and will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is his life story from the age of sixteen and how he ended up in Las Vegas for one purpose: to die. But God had other plans for his life. Seven miracles happened to him there, he was truly Killing Himself to Live, and it is a miracle that he is able to write this today.

Hello New Bible Scholar. My name is Lady Flora Wiggins. I am the Founder and President of the Discipled Men & Women of Wisdom International Bible Institute. Let me start by saying, I believe in you. I sincerely believe there is a space inside each of us that is designed to crave the love of God. That love is found in the word of God. It is written in John 4:8,"God is Love." It is also written in John 1, "The word was God." Therefore, I have come to the conclusion that since we all have a natural need and desire for love, we should begin to look in the one place we are guaranteed to find it. That place is in the Holy Bible. I envision the peace and joy that comes from the pure love you will find here, transforming this world according to Romans 12:2. My dream is that this transformation will lead us to obey the command in II Chronicles 7:14 and ultimately we will see the healing of the land that God has promised us. The DMWW Bible Institute is my way of offering the amazing sixty-six book love letter from God, to anyone who has been looking for love in all the wrong places. It is also my way of obeying God's command to disciple all nations to Christ before his return. There is a main reason for my answer to the calling of God to teach his word, internationally at no charge. It is because when God first called me to the ministry, I couldn't afford the classes that I needed to be ordained. I cried and prayed. God told me to go back and be the change I wanted to see. The Lord said, "I could have just blessed you with money for classes. However, I allowed you to experience this pain because I trusted you to make a difference. Many have prayed the prayer you just prayed, wanting to preach my word, but a lack of money prevented them and people calling them bootleg. I need someone to obey me, no matter the cost? I said, "Yes Lord" and over several years, he trained me the way he wanted his word to be taught. He tested me by having me offer it free online worldwide, with no pay or natural compensation. I said, Yes Lord. God told me to teach his word "in context" without adding or taking away from its meaning. I said Yes Lord. Every day from that day to this one, I have spent teaching as he commanded. Today, I would like to invite you to join me, along with several men and women from all over the world on a spirit led journey through the Holy Bible. WELCOME!

Have we become numb to the increasing frequency of terrorist acts? They seem to happen in other countries and do not affect us directly. There has been nothing to compare to the horrific magnitude of the 9/11 attacks, yet. But could something even more disastrous happenagain? When?We feel helpless at events seemingly outside our control. But what if we could individually contribute towards collective peace? And what if we grow personally and prosper no matter what happens? This is a fictional story of the very wise Sheikh Umeed, the imam, living in New York, who has always been preaching for peace but discovers to his horror that his son has been involved with terrorist activities. We follow his experiences from initial shock and deep dismay to really trying to understand what drives ordinarily peaceful humans to extreme violence-to acknowledge injustice without condoning terrorism. He shares with us the lessons he learns along the way-how we can grow mentally and spiritually and live a life of peace and prosperity. He demonstrates how we can learn from the lessons the terrorists are unknowingly teaching us, the lessons we can teach to the terrorists, and the steps we and the terrorists can take to bring about lasting peace. Is there an end to mindless violence? Are we being buffeted by a terrible, passing storm, or are we in a never-ending upward spiral of violence? Is there daylight after the end of the world's terrorist nightmare? In answering these questions, we have the opportunity to grow mentally and spiritually and leave a legacy of peace and prosperity.

"Cappuccino with Grandma" is a narrative carefully and stylistically presented to reflect beautiful and memorable moments spent with her Grandma. It portrays love shared between Grandma and the Grandchild. It sets a reader on a plane of wanting to experience and feel such loving moments. Interestingly, in the narrator's artistic nature, she employs nice pictorial representations such as Rialto Bridge, City of Venice, San Marco Piazza etc. These memorable pictures make the story appealing, enjoyable, interesting and permanent. The choice of language also is simple and understandable, spiced with figure of speech evidently seen in her unique use of repetition; 'sip, sip' in almost all the tables. This piece will be enjoyed by children.Make available this short story to your child to enjoy the beauty ofstorytelling and feel Grandma's love.

This Anthology is the first in a series which contain "Transcribed Rhymes". The poems in this collection are "Heard Words", not unlike the song writer who simply writes down the tune he or she hears, in his or her mind, and the artist who applies paint to the canvas of the picture he or she envisions. These poems were given and received as a window, through which to view and clarify thoughts and moments, regarding experiences of life. The subjects are universal in nature, in that, they are applicable to the vagaries of the lives of the many readers, who are then able to apply the poem's teachings to their own situation. If applied, this teaching window could become a door.
