When God placed writing this book on my heart, I was struggling and complaining to Him about the state of the church (Christianity worldwide) as someone who travels (50+ countries) and sees the moral slide and what seems to be a lack of urgency from believers to repent, speak God's undiluted truth, and let the Holy Spirit do the convicting. I believe my answer was to write what I believe and then let the Holy Spirit do what He does best-convict. I have deliberately shared summaries of all my points, so readers can do a dive or continue with more studies (both Biblical and scientific) if they so choose. I am trusting God in the purpose of this book, which is to clearly state that Christ is who we surrender to, explain the why of our surrender, outline how we can develop the discipline of surrendering daily when we understand the process biologically and spiritually, and what surrendering through utter and full obedience looks like and does for us on our earthly journey and in eternity. Be blessed. Femi is the Executive Director of Christian Couples Fellowship International Inc. - a marriage and relationship ministry based out of Omaha, Nebraska in the USA. Femi has been blessed to speak in 50+ countries and publish 14 other books (on Marriage, Doctrine and Novels). He is married to Olatokunbo Awodele (a physician) for 30 years, they are blessed with adult children, two boys - Ibukunoluwa and Fiyinfoluwa, and daughter Ebunoluwa.

Based on Biblical principles, Bro. Awodele leads the reader through the process of how God transforms and empowers us to be Godly leaders. Femi examines the values of a Godly leader and pinpoints the characteristics of a great leader-including the role of the Holy Spirit in not only giving spiritual gifts to the leader but also the fruit. Dr. Duane "Chip" Anderson CEO/International Director Christ for the City International, Inc. In this book, Bro. Femi focuses on the importance of a leader's moral integrity and the connection between the leader's nurture and nature. As specified in the book, the Holy Spirit can help us overcome our shortcomings. Yielding to God triggers supernatural empowerment and endowment of qualities and strengths we don't naturally possess that will help us accomplish more in leadership than is naturally possible. Pastor Funmi Obilana Lead Pastor, Living Spring Miracle Centers, Philadelphia/Linwood PA, USA Provincial Pastor, the Redeemed Christian Church of Christ Bro. Femi Awodele does a phenomenal job, correlating our human character with that of being a leader. He bridges science (nature and nurture) and God's unfailing word seamlessly, provoking the reader in positive ways to think beyond what they think they know. He then suggests how to merge these finely-tuned characteristics into our lives, shaping us into people worthy of leading others, with the help of God's Spirit in us. Pastor Elictia Hart Co-Pastor/International Speaker Eagles Nest Worship Center, Omaha NE, USA William Femi Awodele is the Executive Director of Christian Couples Fellowship International, Inc., a marriage ministry based in Omaha, Nebraska in the United States. Marriage is one of the most cherished events in a person's life, especially for a Christian. However, more questions can arise about marriage even after the wedding vows are said. Author William Femi Awodele discusses a comprehensive point of view on marriage through his new book, Common Questions and Biblical-Christianity Influenced Answers for African Marriages in the Diaspora. William provides biblical responses through a question-and-answer format in regards to common issues and concerns in African marriages. Differences between African and Western cultures towards matrimony are discussed, but the central focus is on men and women's roles in relationships: in dating, courtship and marriage. Finances in marriage, raising children biblically and marrying from different cultures are among the topics answered, as well as the role of in-laws in marriage and sex before and into marriage. The hope is for Christians to marry true Christians, going from two to one in flesh.

"Not my will, but your will be done" may be a recognized verse from Luke 22:42, but it is also a calling to every Christian to daily choose God's will over their own. Submitting to God's will is a challenge for every person, as human free will can prevent people from following Jesus, and instead embrace their sin natures and the world's systems. As author William Femi Awodele describes in his new book, Battlefield of the Will, people are in the midst of a battle of wills between Satan's kingdom of darkness and God's kingdom of light. William depicts the human soul as a mixture of mind, will and emotion, which Satan can enter into and cause doubt towards God's love and power. By renewing one's mind in Jesus through salvation and being led by the Holy Spirit, not emotion, Satan can be hindered and God's loving will can prevail.

I look forward to visiting your website and getting your resources online.Shelly - Omaha NE USA I just read another thought provoking article from you today. I saw one of your articles around 2009 on Nigeriaworld.com and I got stuck. You''ve been able to explain what I could not explain in words. Most of what you write about I perceive in my environment, but could articulate and dissect it well. I got invited to an Exegetical Church around that time, you and a combination of other factors have greatly influence my re-orientation. Thanks for taking time to teach us and expose the truth.Seun - Phoenix USAA very good morning from warm and humid Lagos, Nigeria.
