The Rain Came After is about realizing the rollercoaster of emotions and obstacles one goes through when finding themself. Being open and honest about ones feelings without much thought for what others has to say. The Rain Came After puts the whirlwind of thoughts in my mind into neatly worded poems. Often times we think that since we choose to fight our internal battles alone that no one else fights a similar battle, we are wrong. If only we open up and talk we'd realize we're more like our neighbor than we know.
