The stress of going from a businessman's wife to one who is supporting a congregation of different viewpoints can be challenging to say the least. Sandra has been married for 55 years to her pastor husband Barry. She is a mother of two grown, beautiful and talented daughters, Wendy and Beth, and Mother in law to Chaz and Brent. She is also grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren Quinn, Soren and Zoe, and mom to a rescued mixed breed pooch named Chessie. Sandra's desire to write blossomed nine years ago when she approached her son in law Brent with her hand written script. Brent is an English and Speech teacher at a local high school in Denver, CO, along with being a published author of instructional books in his field of expertise. With his encouragement to first get her stories on a computer, and recognizing that she has a unique gift for creating characters and settings that many people who write cannot achieve. These two things set her on this journey from being just a writer to a published author. Sandra has her degree in Commercial and Graphic Art. She is an accomplished long arm quilter. Along with the Mochila Saga she has written five books in a series about a Southern Belle from Kentucky. You will follow Catherine Barlow through her life and family challenges in the late 1800's and early 20th century in; "The Inn at McRaven Springs Series." In one of Sandra's short stories she shares her adventures at becoming a pastor's wife after years of being a strong Southern woman with equally strong opinions. In her life experience the only way to end a dispute was pistols in the morning or fists in the afternoon. "No Way Do I Want to be a Pastors Wife," is an amusing look at the struggles a pastor's wife has while trying to be "wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove."

Mind and Body Conflicts are already taken care of. Most Christian folk don't realize how protected they are. No matter the conflict, Jesus is our weapon of choice. Just think about the thoughts, and decisions, words and actions we do on a daily basis that we worry about. The problem comes in when our mind begins to think too much of itself. Normally when the mind gets too headstrong, the body will follow suit. If the mind doesn't come into subjection, you could get into something dire. Therefore, Thank God for Jesus! As we get closer to Jesus, we find that Jesus never left. He truly is our rock in a weary land, steadfast and immovable. There is actually one qualification......just come as you are.
