I am a 39-year survivor of a Traumatic Brain Injury. I have spent time doing advocacy work in Washington D.C. and Columbus, OH. My poetry is written from my point of view and how I feel about things. I want to show people with brain injuries and other disabilities what can be achieved if they set their minds to make it happen.

This book is written by someone with a Traumatic Brain Injury for individuals with a Traumatic Brain Injury. I want people to see that having a Traumatic Brain Injury changes your life in very unique ways. That it is not the end of your life, just the beginning of something wonderful if you choose to let it.
