" Laapata" is a unique love story of Manisha and Saumil. In this, the ups and downs of their emotions are depicted in the three journeys, they took together. Sometimes the rising emotions get suppressed as the mind oscillates between right and wrong. Sometimes the lack of words fails to bring out the desires of the heart and sometimes emotions get overpowered by conscience. These waves of emotions have been depicted in this short story. I have tried to narrate the story in the most simplistic way. The story has interesting twists and turns and I have associated each important moment with a popular song. I urge you to listen to those songs once if you have not earlier so that you can relate the songs to those situations and become fellow travelers in the journeys of Manisha and Saumil.
