When Kara books Be*Tween and Johnny Conrad to perform at the benefit concert for the Ravenswood Wildlife Preserve she has no idea that one of the singers has a dangerous secret that puts Ravenwood and her friends in danger.
Ravenswood is in trouble! The Spider Witch has trapped Orenda, the forest sylph, and transformed her into an evil monster. The Mistwolves are lost and in danger. Dreamer has been taken away and Stormbringer needs Adriane's help. But how? With no Dreamer to ground her and no Storm to act as her guide, the warrior could get lost in the magic. Orenda is dying, the Mistwolves are fading away and the forest is calling out to Adriane again. To help her friends, she must walk the spirit trail and recover the missing power crystal of Avalon.
Emily's dad wants her to visit him at his ranch in New Mexico. Emily convinces Kara and Adriane to accompany her. On the way the girls discover a herd of baby unicorns which they must hide from an evil hunter before its too late.
The road to Avalon is finally within reach, its location revealed in a fairy map that Kara holds. She must use the map for the good of all the worlds, but the Dark Sorceress wants it too, and will stop at nothing to get it.
