The title of her book is an included poem that was inspired by her experiences of her commute on the Eisenhower Expressway known as the Ike. She was a semi-finalist in the 2007 Creative Communication Adult Poetry Contest. Nancy Sack has had had several of her poems and prose published in national anthologies and literary magazines throughout her years of teaching. Currently, she is published in the National Council of Teachers of English Gallery of Writing and in the online magazine www.thefabulouswoman.com. Nancy lives in Elmhurst, Illinois, with her two teenage children.Her genuine writing is a wonderful compilation of poetry and prose filled with the inconsistencies and the beauties of life. Her thoughtful collection has universal appeal to all who live in this modern age.
