This is a book of poetry that addresses observations about what makes us different and what brings us together; about what is amazing in this world and yet what is tragic and inhumane; as well as our failures and successes. The poetry style is pleasing to read and is yet often peppered with deep meaning. There is an abundance of an older, lyrical style in modern poetic offerings. The author eschews vulgarity in all forms with a belief that there is enough of that in this world already. Take some “me” time, and enjoy this wonderful book of poetry.
As a successful businessman, I honed skills at observation, evaluation and analysis, as well as strategy and planning. I have of late been applying these skills along with a sense of art to better represent the world, human nature and myself through poetry, using that other side of my brain.
