A young Australian man signs up to go to war having little knowledge of how his life would be impacted in the future. Jim, after serving at Tobruk, was captured and sent to POW camps in Germany and Italy. Luisa, born during WWI was raised in a small village in Italy. This is a love story of two ordinary people whose lives will forever be entwined by the horrors of that war and the impact it had on future generations.
