Finwave might be the strangest fish you've ever heard of, but that's because she's not just a fish. She's an alien fish, a species of fish that are known for being violent and murderous. One day, our little fish descended from space and fell into earth's atmosphere, where she was then raised by a lionfish who raised her to be good. After a terrible incident causes Finwave to run away, she must embark on a journey across the sea to discover the potential of her alien powers and choose who she truly is.

In a world where humans have mysteriously disappeared, animals have evolved into becoming humanoids known as humanimals. Some of them became archeologists and they discover the artifacts the humans left behind across the entire world. One of those archeologists is Tarskin, a black fox. His world changes when he meets an arctic fox named Kitvie who has no memories of who she is. Tarskin then decides to take her in as his apprentice and tries to train her into becoming a great archeologist like himself. However, Kitvie is not just an ordinary humanimal, she posesses mysterious and powerful telekinetic powers which she has problems controlling. Not only that, Kitvie's wanted by a mysterious colobus monkey, Silvano, who chases the duo around the world to kidnap Kitvie but can also provide information about her past. The duo must now be on the run from Silvano as they travel the archeological world, finding artifacts, taking down bad guys, and trying to discover the person who Kitvie was before.

Long ago, in a Japanese village lived two mischief-making best friends, Evitti and Fujiko. One day, their pranks go too far when Evitti tells Fujiko to grab the tails of a fox, causing her to become cursed into one. Years later, after being filled with a vengeance, Fujiko chases down Evitti with the intention of killing her. While trying to escape Fujiko, Evitti comes across another victim of the curse, Mihiro. The two of them must now work together and search for a way to lift the curse before Fujiko catches them.

Tarskin and Kitvie truly have been through a lot of exciting, yet tough adventures over the years. They've escaped a mysterious person numerous times, helped exploration guilds collect artifacts, and now, have finally discovered the human mystery for themselves. However, soon after uncovering the mystery, the duo hear about a mysterious tower bound to release a cataclysmic disaster that will wipe out every single person on the earth. Knowing that the world is in danger, Tarskin and Kitvie must now join up with a group of agents to help stop an apocalyptic future from happening and save everyone. ...This will be their last adventures together.

Tarskin and Kitvie's archeological adventures continue after a year. The two of them have now joined a guild that is working toward Tarskin's dream, to solve the human mystery. However, little do the duo know that the archeologists working for the guild are being turned into wild humanimals by a new threatening villainess, Kraita.She'll stop at nothing to take back the artifacts that will lead them towards the human mystery. Tarskin and Kitvie must now try to find a way to help the guild solve the mystery while avoiding being turned into primitive monsters.
