Barnabas Collins has become a human again and is living in Collinsport, Maine. Although engaged to marry Dr Hoffman, Barnabas falls in love with a mysterious woman named Antoinette. Antoinette settled in the area because her daughter is being treated in a nearby mental hospital. Her daughter suffers from flashbacks of her previous incarnation.
Victoria Winters has returned to Collinsport, the only problem is she doesn't have any memory of where she has been.
