When you enter a relationship you go into it with your eyes open wide and your heart full of butterflies & possibilities. As the relationship unfolds you & your partner go through different stages growing until one day you outgrow each other. The poems in this book are based on true love stories about the layers of a relationship and how particular relationships in my life shaped me enough to create this body of work. These poems were written over a span of 12 years with love at the forefront of every relationship that then turned into heartbreak. Every stage truly helped me grow into who I am today andgave me the love & pain to create each poem inside.
