Many Christians have wondered why there is no prophecy about the United States in the Bible, because it prophesies much about the world today. In this book we can see clearly that God prophesies about the U.S. in Obadiah as the nation approaches choosing decisively for or against Jesus. Obadiah reveals two alternative futures: one will be chosen, which will also reject the other. One future is gross sin and a resulting just judgment of being destroyed forever from being a people. The other future is a wonderful transformation of the U.S. by joining itself to Christ Jesus as one of His national disciples. As the Bible shows, believers in Jesus within a land prepare (or fail to prepare) the U.S. or any nation to make the good choice. This book duplicates "God's Word to the United States" (don't buy both). "God's Just Judgment of a Nation" is a less specific picture that comes from a bigger Scripture: all 12 Minor Prophets.

The Bible uses the heart to represent the whole inner person, the part of a person that receives a new body as he (she) moves from life on earth into the rest of eternity. Because the heart is the key to each person's eternal good, our loving God makes purifying our hearts a priority. He gives true progress, but He also wants each of His children in Jesus to co-operate with His work for our good. This allows major problems. A heart often has unhealed wounds, wrong beliefs, and distracting treasures. The heart naturally protects itself against getting changed, even by deceiving one's own mind if necessary. And the devil and demons try diligently to deceive people out of receiving God's great good in Jesus. This book is written to show Biblical solutions for these kinds of heart problems.

The extraordinary life contained in the Scripture and picture of "abiding in Jesus the Vine" is a far greater part of John's Gospel and 1John than believers in Jesus can read in their Bibles today. God commands and calls His children to abide in Jesus, to continue or stay (men¿) in a love life and obedient close fellowship with God as Jesus lived on earth. Not realizing this theme has weakened our personal and corporate life and growth in God.One issue has caused most believers to not see this vital theme in John's books: in English, translating his "ina" as "that" or rarely "to" in 25 of his 213 ina's. This book's Part 1 helps us see ina as "so that" and shows 25 vital outcomes, each connected to its key source by Greek conjunction ina. Unfulfilled sources show why most believers have not fully moved into these 25 desired outcomes. Part 2 shows all 213 ina's by John and is written for those who want to further examine and test my or anyone's claim for John's true ina.

  • - Jesus' Hidden Command and Our Opportunity

Many believers in Jesus know about abiding in the Vine in John 15, but few realize the content of His command there: stay in My love. This command seems so easy to obey and fulfill, but examining it closer reveals its key point: our opportunity to live in fellowship with our Father God like Jesus had with Him while on earth. Some believers realize our great opportunity from John 15 or other Scriptures, but I know of no one who realizes that this is a theme of John's whole Gospel and 1John. English readers do not see this theme because a simplified translation of "ina" systematically veils how many favorite verses connect to abiding in Jesus in John 15. We can see this theme and a better meaning of 22 key verses with John's consistent meaning of ina as "so that". We can also see a needed part of a believer's foundation for his/her life on earth: John's consistent meaning of ina reveals sources of vital outcomes and shows why most of us have not fully moved into them.

  • - Moving Toward Him

Lost in the translation: truly "believing in Jesus" moves us toward Him. The preposition in John's Scriptures - eis - has a primary meaning of motion toward its object. In this little book we can see every Scripture where the Greek New Testament uses a "believe preposition Jesus" or "believe preposition God". All of these verses together can provide a good Bible study because of their content and this book's fresh perspective, but more valuable is letting you see for yourself how much content in John's verses is lost by translations "believe in Jesus" or "believe on Jesus". Translations like "believe toward Jesus" or "believe into Jesus" in specific "believe eis Jesus" verses in John can help believers realize that we need to keep growing into Christ Jesus after we first believe.

The Bible shows God's plan to work through the Body of Christ to heal people and even whole nations. God gives His plan especially in Ephesians, John, 2Chron. 7:13-14, and Romans 8. Every nation today is sick because the Church there has not yet followed His plan, which goes far beyond our imaginations or anything that has been accomplished up to now. Nevertheless, Ephesians shows God's commitment to fulfill His plan. This book shows all these things, specifically including how the Body of Christ is to heal nations and deliver people from moral corruption through Jesus Christ. This book also shows the Bible's strategy for individual believers in Jesus to help the whole Body of Christ go far beyond all that it has done up to now.

In this book we see how Malachi describes the spiritual illness in the U.S. and certain other materially "developed" nations today. The symptoms reveal their obvious cause. Malachi goes further to reveal the often unseen source of the obvious cause. This is like the unseen flu virus or malaria parasite causing an illness, which can be an obvious cause of chills, fever, muscle aches, and more. Malachi establishes all of this for the spiritual illness today, and then shows God's cure for this otherwise incurable spiritual illness. Malachi also shows what God's people need to do to move into and become a part of His cure for these nations.

This Mt. Zion is the one in Hebrews 12:22-24, which is also called the Holy of Holies in heaven and the Lord's holy throne room. This book shows how the whole book of Hebrews is really a brief exhortation for believers in Jesus Christ to draw near to God in the Holy of Holies in heaven through our great High Priest, Jesus. We get to see from the Bible that God imparts true life to His people there as we come intimately before Him. We can also see how God allows and equips His people to participate in His government of all the earth. We also see clearly how God's people -- Christians -- have missed taking full advantage of His great provision for us to draw near to Him through Jesus. Therefore we have seen a resulting loss of good fruit in our lives and throughout the earth. But by understanding what God provides for us in Jesus and in Mt. Zion -- the Lord's holy throne room -- we can see what can be done and can provide much more true life on earth by faith and God's power.

The Day of the Lord on a nation is its just judgment by God: a nation's full accountability to the just and loving God for the nation's sins throughout its history. The Bible shows many examples of God's just judgment of ancient nations as whole units. National judgments have continued through the centuries after Biblical times, but have become especially common in the last 80 years as nation after nation has come under atheistic communism or another dominating spiritual darkness. As with individuals, a nation that has sinned badly can be justly blessed by joining itself to the Lord Jesus and receiving His sacrifice for sinful mankind. For a nation to receive this blessing, believers in Jesus need to help the people in their land to want Jesus in their hearts and lives. This little book shows all of this and more.
