A writer's ministry; a ministry of writers as a priesthood of believers. The Metropolitan Community Church of Washington (MCC Washington or MCC DC) was founded in 1970 by Rev. J. E. Paul Breton as the Community Church of Washington, D.C. It was chartered on May 11, 1971 by the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches. This year we celebrate 50 years of a beloved community that continues to grow in the experience of knowing the God of our understanding.
