Living in the idyllic seaside town of Palmetto Beach is a dream come true for Mitch Sanders, an aspiring marine biologist who studies from home while his wife, Ashley scores the perfect job at Bioengineering Clinical Research Institute of Medicine which is about to make an astounding medical breakthrough. Three victims of horrendous accidents anxiously sign up for the clinical trial promising to restore their lives... Thanks to a newly created species called Emulators that not only can regenerate human organs and limbs, but also are able to reconstitute into anything they choose. Unfortunately, the three test subjects are about to discover the Emulators have a mind of their own... As Ashley and Mitch are caught up in a conspiracy-someone is plotting to steal the institute's research and will do anything to get it.
