This book takes the reader on the journey of punk rocker Gary Llama's teenage years, as singer and guitarist of the punk band 500$Fine. From playing shows at age 14, to writing and recording their own music, to becoming active in the Richmond, Virginia punk and activist scenes, this book tells a tale of kids trying to make a positive impact on the world, while being challenged at every step. Then when a tragic death occurs, trying to honour their friend's life. This book takes the reader through a story of pursuing your dreams, fighting for what you believe in, and ultimately, trying to process the life and death of a kid's best friend.

'Art Companion' is a review of artworks made by Gary Llama between 2009 and 2015. Gary's work is a politically and socially informed vehicle, aimed towards inspiring change, either in the self, or in how we relate to others. 'Art Companion' takes us through these works, and gives a little narrative to the works themselves. Includes works from his shows Millions, A Life Cycle of Wild Birds, Home: An Exploration, and An Identity Of The Pedestrian In The City, some of which were covered in previous books that have since gone out of print.

This book is a collection of writings over a 10 year span from the mind of Gary Llama, an artist, musician, and activist from Richmond, Virginia. In 2005, Gary Llama began writing essays. Inspired by the writings of C. Wright Mills, he began writing down his thoughts, normally reserved for songs, into short essays. Topics center around society, and the implications of various issues.
