The Gospel of Mark was the first one written and became foundational for the Synoptics. Nevertheless, is this John Mark’s testimony, or was it actually the testimony of Simon Peter? What do we know about John Mark, his life, and his world? Who was he and how did he become so influential? What does the New Testament tell us about him? It seems as if we know so little about him, yet he has written a book in the Bible.  John Mark was probably the only person that met, visited, or knew just about every church and person mentioned in the New Testament? I want to present a school of thought concerning the life and family relationships of John Mark. In this book, I want to present him in a light in which, perhaps, you have never seen him before, and I pray that you will be blessed, encouraged, deeply edified.  Dr. Parker has been in active ministry since 1971. Misogyny, Its Origen, Impact, and Fruit, and the Work of Christ to Eliminate It by author and biblical scholar Dr. Prince Maurice Parker is a brief study of the issue of misogyny. Providing a concise overview of misogyny, the book begins with the fundamentals, explaining what misogyny is and how it appears in different forms, such as chauvinism and gynophobia, often referring back to Mexican culture and the Spanish Conquest. From there, Dr. Parker provides a sweeping survey of misogyny across history, cultures, and world religions, from Greek philosophers to teachings in Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. The remainder of the book is a work of biblical studies, exploring teachings on gender and women's studies throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament, from the creation story to Pauline epistles. Comentarios sobre el libro y su autor: Éste es su segundo libro y vuelve a sorprendernos con sus atrevidos comentarios y sorprendentes enseñanzas. Es de esos oradores y escritores que se atreven a decir cosas que pueden ser controvertidas pero que vienen respaldadas por un profundo estudio de la Biblia y por confirmaciones de Dios en una búsqueda sincera. Me gusta leerle porque sé que no va a decir lo de siempre. Cuando le estoy leyendo anticipo y encuentro esos detalles que él ve y que a otros se nos pasan inadvertidos. ¡Vale la pena!... Al igual que en su anterior libro, nos encontramos ante un tratado digno de ser considerado libro recomendable de estudio en cual seminario o universidad cristiana. Felicidades Príncipe.
