Lachlan Sinclare is on a thankless mission. Off to retrieve the homely, strewish daughter of a local clan leader so she can be married off, Lachlan just wants to get the job done and return home. But once he reaches the convent where the woman has been staying, the plan changes drastically.
Sweet Baby Heather's daddy takes her to the zoo. The exciting animals they see bring many questions and comments. Sweet Baby Heather wants to know why the lion cub is crying and if she can touch the giraffe's head. Daddy wants to know if she likes the stripes on the tiger and explains that the elephant's long nose is called a trunk. They have a happy day at the zoo. Leaving hand in hand, Sweet Baby Heather exclaims, "I love you Daddy, yes I truly do!".
