This Pauline primer addresses the various components that make up the edification process following the pattern of Paul's epistles. It is aimed at "stablishing" us concerning "the mystery" as we go from a "babe" in Christ to an "elder" in the faith. Communion has been the subject of much debate throughout church history. It was one of the most contentious issues addressed in the aftermath of the Reformation. Despite his doctrinal divisions with the Papacy, Luther was closer to Rome on this sacramental point than many of his fellows who, like Zwingli, adopted a more symbolic approach. Calvin would attempt to bridge these two Protestant traditions with contributions on the nature of Christ's presence and its implications for covenantal participation. To what extent are any of these views correct? What exactly did Christ teach his disciples during his last Passover meal? What does Paul teach us in connection with it? Is communion sacramental? How is it to be observed? What is our relationship to Israel's new covenant? Does dispensationalism have a role in answering these questions? In exploring these issues we will see that communion is at the heart of a "shew" currently being SEEN OF ANGELS.
