Questo libro è stato organizzato con l'obiettivo di diffondere i dati relativi a un progetto di ricerca del Master, il cui oggetto è l'habitus scolastico degli alunni della scuola primaria. La ricerca si inserisce nel dibattito sul processo di scolarizzazione, nel rapporto che si instaura tra l'habitus scolastico, le pratiche degli insegnanti e le famiglie degli studenti. Lo studio si basa sul concetto di habitus della teoria di Pierre Bourdieu. La domanda è qual è il contributo dei compiti extrascolastici mediati dalla famiglia e dalla scuola nella costituzione dell'habitus scolastico dei bambini della scuola primaria e delle sue conseguenze sul processo di scolarizzazione degli alunni? Pertanto, questa ricerca offre un contributo all'ampliamento delle conoscenze sulle caratteristiche dell'habitus scolastico degli studenti della scuola primaria; se questo habitus è correlato al successo scolastico e in che misura la famiglia e l'insegnante contribuiscono alla realizzazione di questo habitus e al suo contributo al successo scolastico degli studenti. Si spera che i risultati contribuiscano a future riflessioni sul miglioramento del processo scolastico attraverso l'habitus scolastico.

This book has been organised with the aim of disseminating the data relating to a Master's research project, the object of which is the school habitus of primary school pupils. The research is part of discussions on the process of schooling, in the relationship that is established between the school habitus, the practices of teachers and the students' families. The study is based on the concept of habitus from Pierre Bourdieu's theory. The question is: what is the contribution of out-of-school tasks mediated by the family and the school in the constitution of the school habitus of primary school children and its consequences for the pupils' schooling process? Thus, this research offers contributions to expanding knowledge about the characteristics of the school habitus of primary school students; whether this habitus is related to success in school performance and to what extent the family and the teacher contribute to the realisation of this habitus and its contributions to the success of the students' schooling. It is hoped that the results will contribute to future reflections on improving the schooling process through the school habitus.
