Melancholic Healings is a poetry collection that has themes of depression, mental health struggles, self-destruction, self-construction, relationship, and romance. This book was written over a time frame where the poet experienced vastly different emotions and is reflected in the bulk of his work. From the start to the finish, all sorts of vivid imagery and poetic elements are utilized throughout the book. This is the debut poetry collection of Chase Marsteller, a 23 year old, who wrote this book in order to help pay for his mental health appointments.
