One day, Cayna receives an urgent correspondence from Shining Saber, afellow Leadale player also transported to this new world. It turns out that ahorde of monsters is headed for the royal capital, and he needs Cayna to lendher mighty powers to stop the beasts. But when a Guardian Tower in the form of agiant tortoise appears in CaynaΓÇÖs absence, will Exis and Quolke have whatit takes to handle it themselves?!

Still Waters Run Deep​Cayna’s life following her recent move to the countryside with her adopted daughter, Luka, is both peaceful yet eventful. One day, Cayna takes a trip to Felskeilo with Luka, Roxine the maid, and Lytt, the local innkeeper’s daughter, in tow to check out the royal capital’s River Festival. When they arrive, however, Cayna receivesword from a nearby Guardian that another Guardian Tower is running out of MP and needs Cayna’s help. There’s just one catch—the tower takes the form of a gargantuan whale! To make matters worse, the festival Cayna and her crew came to enjoy may be in danger… because the whale in question is swimming in that very river!

Having received intel about a new Guardian Tower, Cayna sets out for her next journey-but not before butting heads with a new adventurer in town! The werecat from Otaloquess is itching for a challenge, especially when Cayna turns down her invitation. After their clash, Cayna tags along with Shining Saber to reach the fishing village where the tower was sighted...but what will she do when she finds it encased in fog and plagued by zombies?!

After the incident in Helshper, Cayna has not only gotten evidence that there are other players in Leadale, but also felt an echo from the past from her old friend and fellow Skill Master, Opus. Now, back in Felskeilo, Ronti introduces her to a classmate from the Royal Academy who ends up being a bit of a problem child¿

Traveling as a guard for Elineh's caravan, Cayna visits the northern kingdom of Helshper. There, she stops by the Sakaiya shop to deliver a letter Mai-Mai had entrusted to her¿and comes face-to-face with her grandson¿an elf named Caerick! But then a casual comment of his manages to incur Caynäs wrath, and all hell breaks loose!?

Cayna is more than a little overwhelmed by all the changes to the world of Leadale during the unexplained 200-year gap from when she last logged in, but she decides her best move is to leave the remote village where she started to go seek more information. Next stop¿the royal capital of Felskeilo, where all her children happen to be employed in various positions of power!

Investigating this eerie phenomenon leads to a chance reunion with one of her former guild members and the discovery of an orphan girl named Luka. As Cayna’s circle of friends grows, will she acquire any additional insight into how she came to find herself in Leadale…?
