    New Mexico Artist Bobby J. Jones focuses upon his love for roses in this artbook, Bobby J. Jones' Digital Paintings of Roses. This interest developed during Bobby's childhood while growing up in Fort Worth, Texas. Bobby recalls that his maternal grandmother had a Radiant rosebush at her house in Lubbock, Texas. This rosebush was planted in the 1940s and blossomed every year until the 1970s. Bobby's parent recognized his interests in roses as a child. Bobby and his father planted rosebushes at their house on Kingswood Drive in Fort Worth. One day Jones photographed the rose garden at The Tony Hillerman Public Library in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Now he is creating digital images/digital paintings for this publication, Bobby J. Jones: The Digital Paintings of Roses!!!!

    New Mexico Artist Bobby J. Jones grows Irises at his house in Albuquerque, New Mexico every year. He takes photos of these lovely flowers every time they bloom in the spring. Jones has compiled his Iris photos into a photo book, Bobby J. Jones' Digital Paintings of Irises: Honoring Jane Edwards. Jane Edwards (1940-2009) was a wonderful artist friend to Bobby's family. Bobby continues to admire Edwards' paintings of flowers from his vivid memory of her lovely paintings. Jane graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 1962 with a BFA in Art. Jane taught art in several schools in Fort Worth. Jane met Bobby's mother at University Christian Church in Fort Worth, Texas when they taught Kindergarten Sunday School together in 1968. Jane encouraged Bobby to become an art major in college at Texas Tech University. Jane was always interested in Bobby's art projects at Texas Tech. This art publication is Bobby Jones's way of paying tribute to a wonderful artist, Jane Edwards.

Jones took these photos of roses and made them into digital paintings or images, Pinturas Digitales De Rosas. Bobby titled this book in Spanish to honor the Hispanic culture. His landlord Victoria Lozoya Dow grows roses at her house in The South Broadway Neighborhood of Albuquerque. Jones has always admired Dow's roses every year. Now!     Bobby J. Jones created these images after camping at Water Canyon in The Magdalena Mountains of New Mexico. He titled this art series in French in honor of my French ancestry. Orginally, Bobby titled this art series, Frontieres de l'amour, Ciels de l'innocence, Couchers de l'soleil de l'paix. Facebook does not allow room for a lengthy title for this art album. Jones created these images by using crayon, color construction paper, color markers and acrylic paints on 9"X12" acid free paper.

    New Mexico Artist Bobby Jones decided to title this art series in French to honor his French ancestry. The story behind this art series starts in 1999 when Bobby bought his first house in Cathedral City, CA on Rango Rd. One morning, he woke up, walked into his office/art room, looked out the window, and saw the palm trees on his street. Bobby started drawing and sketching palm trees. Then Jones decided to stop working on this art series until he found them just recently while organizing his artwork in his house in Albuquerque, NM. Bobby dedicates this art series to his whole family especially his brother Toney Jones, who was born in Hawaii. Bobby remembers seeing my first palm tree in Austin, Texas while his parents and Bobby were visiting his sister and her partner in the 1980s. Bobby has loved palm trees ever since that visit to Austin, TX. Bobby is forever reminded of Joyce Kilmer's poem, Trees. This art series is created with color markers, crayons, and color pencils on 18"X 24" sheets of paper. This art series contains 9 pieces. Palm trees seem to dance and sway spiritually in nature.

    New Mexico artist Bobby J. Jones created The Oprah Winfrey Art Series between 2005-2010. Each piece is 18"X24". Jones used mixed media and collaged images from O Magazine. He also used Prismacolors, watercolor washes, and graphite ebony pencil. "The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate." Oprah Winfrey.     Albuquerque Artist Bobby Jones is creating an art publication, Clouds, Cultivated Fields, and Other Abstract Landscapes. This art images were created in 2013 by Jones. This is when Jones began his artistic journey and continues to evolve as an artist to this day. Jones was influenced by the landscape of the Texas Great Plains between Lubbock and Amarillo. These images came to him during his childhood when traveling by airplane and looking out the window and downward towards the earth through the clouds at different cultivations.

    Artist Bobby J. Jones creates a photo book about Irises. This particular flower is one of Jones' favorite flowers. He grows Irises at his house in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bobby's interests for this flower goes all the way back to his childhood when his paternal grandmother and maternal grandmother grew these flowers at their houses in Texas. There is a family story behind the Irises that grew at Bobby's maternal grandmother's house in Lubbock, Texas. Bobby's aunt Margaret Brown Johnston transplanted Irises from his great grandmother's (Mary Addeline Watts Brown) house on 28th Street in Lubbock to his maternal grandmother's (Sue Morrison Brown) house in Lubbock, Texas.
