Frontières de joie et de bonheur: Exprimer le moi intérieur means "borders of joy and happiness expressing the inner self". I titled these art pieces in French to honor my Turcotte ancestors on my dad's side of the family. While creating these images, I was listening to musical compositions by Grofe and Aaron Copeland. I used crayon, color markers, metallic markers, acrylic paints, tempera paint, watercolors on acid free paper. I am influenced by the surrounding environment of New Mexico. The skies. The Clouds. The mountains. The geometric designs of Native Amercian Pottery!!! God helps me to create art across the surface of the paper!!!
