They completed the second volume after a major traumatic event and no longer felt themselves. Everything was off, and they isolated heavily during this time. Alex Opal sprung from the depths of poetry and prose at the age of 15. Now 34, this is a collection of poetry and prose written this year featuring such topics as childhood trauma, breakups, sexual liaisons, fantasies, one flash fiction psychological horror piece, neurodivergence, and general familial trauma. This is a deep look inside the mind of a poet who has been mastering their craft in various ways for over half their life. Not much of their work has been published, other than by another name, and their full name, but they have a wide array of unpublished, as of yet, material. Feel the deep emotions sweep over you and the internalized prose of a person who is truly suffering this existence. While they struggle to get out of their position, only the brain to pen to paper seems to do the trick, and this is one of many collections of their work to come.
