Rape is an extremely serious crime. Unfortunately, it is also very common. Every country in the world has experienced rape. During the Bosnian Genocide, a woman named Nusreta Sivac became one of many rape victims in Omarska concentration camp. She was raped, tortured, and beaten along with other women in the camp. Omarska Camp was described as "an echo of Auschwitz" by surviving victims of the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz at a public discussion held in Linz, Austria, in 2011. Nusreta made the decision to speak up about her experiences. She was so bold and so brave that she became an activist for victims of rape. Nusreta is a heroic pioneer. She is credited with helping in the recognition of wartime rape as a war crime under international law. Some of my mother's friends were raped during the Bosnian War. When I was a college student, I had 4 of my friends raped. ENOUGH. "RAPISTS" is a poetry book that will compel you to do something about this horrifying social trend. We need to eliminate rape culture. Activism is not enough. Self-defense is not enough. We need change agents who are ready to work on patents and inventions as well as public policy laws to stop this heinous crime. We need to unite to stop rape once and for all.

Life is difficult for all of us. It has many plot twists and turns. It offers plenty of surprises and upheavals. I know how that feels. I was a Bosnian refugee and immigrant. I had an extremely mentally abusive father who blamed me for everything. I was ferociously bullied in school. The only person I could rely on was my Mom. As a result of these traumatic experiences, I became extremely ambitious, driven, analytical, and observant. I notice every single detail. Sometimes I notice things that most people don't see or can't connect. That is a powerful yet painful skill. "Nobody Asks You" is a poetry book that describes things that people go through in life ands how they deal with problems. It is partly autobiographical. May it inspire you to be loud and public about discrimination and to never back down, even in the face of insurmountable obstacles that promise to offer defeat.

How Would You Feel? is a poetry book that goes in-depth into the things that my family and I had to endure because we were Bosnian refugees and immigrants. It discusses the bullying that I overcame, the emotional abuse that I suffered at the hands of my father, and the inner struggle that I have had in trying to find peace amongst the chaos and conflict of my life. It offers raw honesty and a nuanced portrait of what it means to feel like an outsider your entire life. I want to empower people who find themselves in powerless situations to conquer their suffering and pain by openly talking about what they have gone through. It would be wonderful to see books, companies, nonprofit organizations, and other creative outlets being utilized by people who have been marginalized and oppressed.

Love Will Kill You is a poetry book which highlights the drama that comes along with falling in love. It is a rollercoaster ride that gets straight to your heart and ignites all of your senses. It is emotional, intense, deep, profound, and explosive. In the book, I didn't sugarcoat anything that I went through in my past. It is a straightforward and raw account of decisions that I have made, dilemmas which I had, and break-ups which I faced. Love Will Kill You is a time capsule of experiences that I believe everyone has at some point in their life. Unfortunately, it is common to write about the nice aspects of love without considering everything that goes along with it. This book will urge you into considering the depth of love.

People Don't Know is a poetry book that everyone can relate to and understand. It openly discusses experiences that I have had or that people that were close to me went through. We don't talk about these things due to cultural conditioning. It is tragic, unfair, and ignorant to bulldoze over issues that are meaningful and important. People Don't Know is a powerful book that discusses trauma, tragedy, and resilience in difficult circumstances. It touches upon dark topics like war, bullying, and rape with the integrity that these themes deserve. It goes into detail and is deep and profound. I wrote it because I think that many people go through their lives being misunderstood or not heard. I think that it's important to have your voice heard.

Humans Never Learn is a powerful book of poetry that highlights the flaws in human character. It is a very raw and honest account of mistakes that people have made or can make. It shows the defects of politicians and ordinary people in decision making. It also displays the horrifying ordeal that people who are in disadvantaged positions must endure. Refugees are usually at the top of that list. When important decisions are made in regards to policy, refugees must pay the price because of faulty politics and cultural ignorance. My intention in writing this book was to show that everyone can make mistakes, but that innocent people who are in need of help are often bulldozed over by those in power. Let this text sink in for a moment so we can help make a better world for everyone.

Lifelong learning is an essential part of surviving life and succeeding at achieving goals. Learning is an attitude that I have adopted in order to become healthier, happier, and more successful. Attaining and maintaining an open mind towards creating moments and achievements is how I define beauty. I Have Learned is a poetry book that discusses all of these topics and more. I think that hardship and suffering are absolutely mandatory aspects of becoming a more resilient, aware, and resourceful person. As a former refugee and immigrant, I think that self-belief is an essential part of powerful perspectives.

A true artist wants risk and adventure. They don't follow rules of convention and they don't care for superficiality. In other words, they think for themselves. They also make a point of it to not lie to themselves. I wrote Shock Value with the intention of providing insight into the world of creativity. I believe that critical thinking allows people to see past what is presented to them into a world that is innovative and unknown. This is the path towards progress because it displays the spectrum of ideas and how they are grown. Shock Value is like a blueprint of success. It is a book of poetry that empowers people to spread love and joy. I hope that people will feel inspired and motivated after reading this book!

Courage expands one's mindset and compels people to do things that they did not know that they were capable of achieving. It also inspires change to occur because it shows all of the skills, experience, and perspective that is possible for one to attain. This is how revolutions are formed and how progress is made. Brilliant ideas and revolutions stem from thought processes such as these. I wrote Striving because I wanted to pay tribute to these kinds of experiences. Ignorant attitudes that enable resistance to prosperity should be dealt with and analyzed instead of being allowed to grow and to spread their negativity. I hope that this book of poetry empowers you to be courageous in all of your life choices.

Being a unique person requires a lot of depth. Originality has never come from a place that has been developed in ease and quiet. That is why the wisest people become the coolest people! I wrote this book to explore all of these themes and more. Like New is a book that centers around love, uniqueness, friendships, relationships, and pride. It is very important to have a strong sense of self in life. You don't get lost or bulldozed by obstacles that are thrown your way. That helps to build self-respect and self-confidence. It is also a form of rebellion in a world that is complex, confusing, and even dark at times. I wrote Like New to remind people that their past does not have to define them and that they can have a life that they are proud of!

This will help one to avoid self-destructive habits and decisions. It will also not allow abusive relationships to occur because one will always have a calm perspective. Classy and Sassy is a book of poems and songs that explores the themes of love and friendship. It honors the things that add meaning and depth to our life. Some of the songs are based on a friendship of 15 years that ended because he decided to do drugs. I wanted him to quit being self-destructive. He didn't want to stop his habits. The friendship ended because I couldn't sit by and watch him destroy himself. I also speak about the jealousy that I had endured throughout my life due to my success. I didn't realize that trying to make my mark on the world would lead to so much hostility and hatred. I hope that Classy and Sassy reminds people that they are not alone in their problems and that it provides them with comfort.

Wisdom stems from lessons learned through experience. It compels one to be resilient and realistic so that they can better themselves and the world around them. Most of all, it alerts people to the importance of listening to their inner voice. What Is Life Anyway? is a very profound poem that elaborates upon the realizations that all human beings must face at one point or another. It draws inspiration from different situations, moods, and views. It reminds us all of the paths we took, the choices we made, and the desires that captivated our heart. It is a tribute to choices that we make which define the course of our lives and set us on an unstoppable trajectory. I used to be bullied all of the way through K-12 and even college. I didn't have many friends, but I spent a lot of time in the library to compensate for the lack of support I was receiving from my classmates. This taught me the importance of self-belief and knowledge. As a former refugee, I can attest to the fact that this attitude is central to success.

Struggle and stress are part of the package of success. Just because you have goals does not mean that some people will not stand in your way and seek to bring you down. Their behavior is a reflection of their deep dissatisfaction with themselves. That is why they have the need to hurt others. I have been hurt many times during the course of my life. I am a war survivor. My family barely escaped the Bosnian Genocide in one piece. I survived intense bullying, a sexual assault attempt, toxic family members, discrimination, burnout, and school politics. I have been angry, sad, confused, scared, and disgusted by the behavior that I have witnessed. If You Want To Succeed is a book of poetry that highlights the need for progress and change during a time of uncertainty (Russo-Ukrainian War, COVID-19, the opioid crisis, and school shootings).

Overcoming obstacles leads one to develop powerful endurance and self-belief. It demands that one steps out of their comfort zone by directly facing their fears and doubt. Vulnerability is exposed during this process of growth. Figure It Out is a poetry book that emphasizes bravery during times of despair. As a Bosnian ex-refugee and survivor of bullying and abuse, I think that having the right mindset can help one overcome anything. I hope to achieve that by motivating others with this book.

Constructive thinking is only possible if it is developed in a positive manner. As a Bosnian ex-refugee, I went through a lot of hardship. Refugees are forced to go through pain and suffering because they are the most vulnerable people on the planet. A Leader is a poetry book that is dedicated to fierce leaders and their bold choices. It examines the difficulty of standing out and being unique. I firmly believe that leadership should be encouraged and developed in schools. I don't mean only in extracurricular activities, but in school projects as well. The school administration would benefit from the exposure and the students would benefit in terms of confidence, skill development, and experience. I think that the incidence of bullying would go down while self-esteem would flourish.

As a Bosnian ex-refugee, I can say with absolute conviction that I am no stranger to pain. My native country, Bosnia and Herzegovina, suffered the most brutal genocide since World War II. We were left to fend on our own as the United Nations and NATO did not do much to defend my people. They backstabbed us with false promises and inaction. In addition to having negative experiences as a refugee and immigrant, I am also a bullying survivor. Some people did not want to spare my family from pain because they thought that it was important to point out how "inferior" we were to them because of our circumstances and background. Pride, passion, and persistence are a powerful combination for success. They contribute to the development of personality and to the skillset of an individual by defining what is important to them. It is crucial to have a clear vision and to refine one's goals. I Am Proud presents different aspects of pride that I have attained over the course of my life. It is a raw, genuine, and real look into trauma and triumph, anger and ambition, and chaos and clarity. I hope that it inspires you to dream big!

Our social conditioning plays a significant role in our lives. It can determine our relationships with our family, friends, and ourselves. It may define how much success we attain and what career we choose. In short, it is crucial to maintaining our identity and solidifying the impact of culture. There is so much hatred and discrimination in the world. It helps to destroy schools, families, countries, and entire institutions. As a survivor of the Bosnian Genocide, I know the cost of war and bullying very well. I survived both of those things. I don't understand why there have to be so many scars in the hearts of people. Not to sound dramatic or dark, but we're all going to die one day. Why must there be so much suffering in the meantime? "Some People Are Like Piranhas" is a poetry book that is based on my experiences with some of the people that I have met throughout my life. It is a reminder that hate destroys itself and that nothing good comes from seeking to degrade people. Those who try to degrade are souls who have allowed their fire to fade.

"The Life Of A Refugee" is a poem that describes the terror and helplessness of being a refugee. It is a stark reminder of the potential of cruelty in humanity. Refugees are the most vulnerable people on the planet. They face murder, rape, torture, humiliation, and degradation on a daily basis. Their lives are under constant threat because of the filth of corrupt politicians and faulty policies. I am a Bosnian Genocide survivor and I have experienced the dangerous uncertainty of war. My mother"s friends were raped and my father was shot in his ankle by a Serbian Chetnik sniper. Over 100,000 Bosnians were killed. 50,000 Bosniak women were raped. The horror of the war in Ukraine is a tragedy. Humanity keeps allowing war and genocide to occur. Ignorance breeds evil and arrogance because it doesn't allow space for critical thinking. Nationalism, sexism, racism, nativism, and any other -ism of society needs to be dealt with swiftly in its infancy so that it does not develop into a catastrophe.

Obstacles create complexity, but also encourage rebellion to occur. The pain inspires development of deeper thinking, critical analysis, and an independent character. Exploring different realms of experience often stems from a place of chaos and conflict. Suitcase Of Memories is a collection of poems that offer insight into the moments that give our lives a sense of meaning and purpose. Fear is the main reason we suffer: we run from what could empower us in exchange for the temporary illusion of a "comfort zone". As a result, we feel betrayed, resentful, and alone even though we made the choice to put ourselves in that position. This book encourages positive changes through growth so that a better future can be created for everyone!
