Poetry written On and In pain reflects upon the most personal and unrevealed emotion of human kind. Our Parents are those blessed souls, whose existence brought us to the light of this world. Sudden loss of any one from blessings exposes a helpless state of mind, as if a storm has taken away security and shelter. This collection of poems is an intense emotional experience. Written during first twenty one days of mourning after sudden shock experienced in passing away of authors father. A strong bond between a daughter and father is reflected in these poems. Behind every courageous women is her father who have immense impact in her growth during the initial formative years as a young girl and a relationship of friendship forever. Inspiration of these eighteen poems is collected from a series of letters shared between them from 1999 to 2022.
