The Hebrew Israelite Community introduces the African-Americans who are members of the Hebrew Israelite Community in Israel from a sociological and anthropological perspective.

This work documents the fact that present-day Israel is still seen as a place to enact social or religious ideals. After introducing the dramaturgical perspectives, the authors give examples of enactments for which the persons involved were conscious that they must first establish a stage.

This examination of A. Paul Hare's findings about groups, teams and social interaction shows how the author's arguments can be placed in the context of several theories, and discusses some applications that can be constructed for the analysis of various kinds of social situations.

Providing an accessible introduction to the life and work of J.L. Moreno, as well as to the principles and practice of psychodrama, this work draws together and clarifies the most important concepts and applications of Moreno's work.
