Contemporary Jewish Philosophy

Offering a survey of Jewish philosophy in the twentieth century, this text introduces the views of important Jewish philosophers such as Hermann Cohen, Franz Rosenweig, and others. It shows how for them the dialogue between Judaism and philosophy is necessary, in order to avoid an attachment to Jewish tradition which is only nationalistic.
