If Einstein had attempted serious poetry, I imagine it might have resembled some of the poems in That Which Is Everlasting. Kyle Singh journeys to the land of light and shadows, life and death, space and time. It is little wonder that he is a physics scholar. But also a mystic, whose poetics are marked by phrasings that capture the paradoxical fabric of matter and spirit: "the integral substance is changing all the time/changing so it's not integral." The Ugly Sister is a collection of poems about an outcast female and her different phases in life. The poems are based off of personal experiences and seeds that were planted in the author. The author is sharing words of boldness from others and how those words can hurt. Sometimes, words said can be used to trigger trauma in someone and people need to be careful of what they say to others. So, the Ugly Sister is written from bitterness, emotionally exhaustion and the hope that it can persuade others to be kind.

Obtuvo el segundo lugar en el Concurso Literario "Tránsitos de papel" 2019, en el Género "Cuento" de la Universidad de Los Andes. Una tara negra llegó a mi puerta es su primera novela.

En Producción Poética se reúnen los siete poemarios de Oriol Espinal escritos en lengua castellana hasta la fecha. Los tres primeros, Luz (2012), Muerte (2013) y Viento (2014), fueron escritos dentro del marco del ciclo poético Periferias, mientras que los tres últimos, Mares y jardines (2017-2018), Resurrecciones (2020-2022) y Agua oculta (2022-2023), lo fueron de manera aislada y sin el propósito de subsumirlos en una tríada. No obstante, vistos desde una cierta perspectiva y considerando los elementos que les son comunes, podemos afirmar que los tres libros constituyen las piezas de un nuevo e innominado ciclo poético. Entre uno y otro conjunto nos encontramos con un libro raro, el titulado Prolongaciones (2016), cuya radical diferencia de planteamiento respecto al resto, lo erige como una suerte de cesura que separa Periferias de los tres últimos poemarios, acaso como un elemento que retiene ambos ciclos, que convierte la miscelánea en un políptico armado con una asimetría estética donde subyace la simetría de la ética, la que infunde alma a toda obra construida sobre el solar de la verdad.
