Bach's "Chromatic Fantasy" as the jumping off point for a wild flight of fancy followed by, the deceptively amiable amble of the "Allemende", the moto perpetuo sprint of the "Corrente", the decadent embroidery of the "Air avec agréments", and the "Gavotte et Musette's" contrast between staccato strut and pedal-heavy pedal point, before concluding with a spectacular "Gigue". Rachel Naomi Kudo commissioned the Suite à l'ancienne, about 16 minutes duration, after impressing Hamelin with her performance of his "Toccata on L'homme armé" in the Van Cliburn International Competition. Funding the commission with her Gilmore Young Artist Award, Kudo suggested the idea of a work inspired by the music of J. S. Bach and went on to premiere the Suite in a performance streaming from Pordenone, Italy on February 21, 2021, presented by the Irving S. Gilmore International Piano Festival."

A sweet miniature composed for solo piano in 1937, Mystic Flute consists of two voices: a simple melody in the harmonic minor scale balanced by an ostinato accompaniment in 7/8 meter that gives the work a hypnotic and ceremonial spirit. The melodic line begins in the top voice, before moving to the bass voice, and returning to the top voice with small ornamentation. No notes were removed from the piano score in this guitar arrangement by Aaron Larget-Caplan, and all dynamic and phrase markings follow the original score as well. This arrangement was premiered on July 29, 2018 at the Coaster Theater in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

Music, as a form of language, is a human characteristic that is present in the lives of human beings and therefore influences the cognitive, social, emotional and affective development of many who interact with it. When children come into contact with the world of sound, they recognise different sounds and are able to reproduce and reinvent them. This is possible because human beings are capable of imagining, creating and giving new meanings to their experiences. According to Vygotsky's socio-historical perspective, assumed in this work, every human activity that generates something new is a creative act and creative imagination is a process that culturally transforms reality. Based on these assumptions, objectives were set that outlined the theoretical-methodological structure of this research. The general aim was to understand the creative process of children in early childhood education who are new to musicalisation activities, involving the recognition, identification and representation of sound elements from various sound productions. It is hoped that this work will broaden discussions in the area and promote new meanings in the practice of musicalisation for children.

This work consists of analyzing and reflecting on the reactions of classical music composers at the time of the premiere of their work, whether or not they are conditioned by the practical reality of putting on a concert. Based on the existing bibliographical analysis, results and conclusions will be presented on the different reactions and ways of seeing the moment of the premiere. Conclusions will be drawn with a view to relating the practical reality and the final result to future works and/or to the composer's own way of composing. Finally, the processes and dynamics of the phenomenon will be demonstrated through the analysis of various current cases with their own specificities.
