Platforms of Reality is a multi-layered analysis and interpretationof Heaven Baek's work, which explores how individualsand society interact both in reality and on stage.It ranges from the artist's early works to her most recentpractice, in which she questions the reality of video timelines,instant realities, and collective memories. The dress can be long or short, with sleeves or sleeveless, and made from a variety of fabrics including silk, cotton, and satin. This issue is themed around Cheongsam. After a trip to Japan in 1953, Werner Blaser published his landmark book on classical Japanese architecture.
