林牧晨，男，1948年（民国37年）生于苏州。为民间政治活动家。 1994年5月流亡美国，到美国后从事过多种职业。业余参与民运活动，曾为【中国之春】编辑，及【联合】、【老百姓】杂志与【自由中华网】主编。曾参与成立"中国社会民主党"等组织。至今仍为民间组织"中国民主教育基金会"理事、"中国民主联合阵线"理事、"中华民国光复大陆工作委员会"成员、"中华民会"会长。 1967年春开始写诗，诗稿大多已流失。此选集所收习作皆曾公开发表。
